What Croda International Uganda Limited does?

To manufacture and deal in all kinds of machinery, implements, appliances, apparatus, lubricants, solutions enamels and all other fittings capable of being used therewith or in the maintenance and working therewith respectively.

To establish and carry on the business of quarry/ mine rail masters and stone/ minerals merchants and to buy, sell, get, work, shape, hew, carve polish, crush and prepare for market or use stone/ minerals of all kinds and of works and buildings of all kinds in the construction of which stone/ minerals are requires.

To carry on the business of glass blowing, load-workers, glass tablet show card and show case manufacturers and glass importers and exporters.

To carry on the business of wholesale and retail dealers of silk, cotton, linen and other materials, (whether raw or grinned) coffee, cocoa, tea, sim-sim, seed, groundnut and all other produce, groceries, flour, rations meal, fish, fruits, vegetables, milk, cream, butler, ghee all other goods.

To carry on the business of general water engineering, public health, roads, solar energy, construction and gas fillers and any other business which may be conveniently carried on in connection therein.

To acquire any real and personal property rights or any other or material which may be used or combined with the business of the company.

To manufacture and carry on the business of all kinds, all types of oils whether vegetables or mineral, plants, color varnish skins, hides, curious, horns, trophies and other goods of similar nature as usually dealt with by a firm of painter and decorations, cement, glass, stone of builders or buildings, merchants, tools and machinery of all description and dealers in sports goods.

To carry on the business of petrol and petroleum products, tyres, tubes and other rubber goods, ivory (whether manufactured or un-manufactured and any other business which may conveniently be carried on in connection therewith.

To carry on the business of dealers and fitters of wireless and electrical goods of all descriptions and any other business which may conveniently be carried on in connection therewith.

To carry on the business of railway or other wagon or other coach builders, carriages, car, and wagon or other vehicle builders, iron founders, mechanical engineers and manufacturer of implements and machinery.

To carry on the business of dealers in apparatus and machinery for use in mining of quarrying and any other business which may conveniently be carried on in connection therewith.

To acquire any estate or interest in properly and to take options over. Construct and develop properly, real or personal or rights of any kind which may appear to be necessary or convenient for any business of the company the objects of which include the carrying on of any business or activity within the objects of this company.

To enter into any guarantee, contract of indemnity or surely ship and in particular (without prejudice the generality of the foregoing) to guarantee the payment of any principal monies, premiums, interest and other payment of dividends and premiums on the repayment of the capital of stock and shares of all kinds and descriptions.

To lend money to or provide credit of financial accommodation to any person or company in case in which such grant or provision is considered likely directly or indirectly to further any of the objects of the company or the interests of its members.

To borrow and raise money and secure or discharge any debt or obligation of or binding on the company to be necessary or convenient for any business of the company the objects of which include the carrying on of any business or activity within the objects of this company.

To sell or otherwise dispose of the whole or any part of the undertaking of the company either together or in portions for such consideration as the company may think fit and in particular for shares, debentures or securities of any company purchasing the same.

To amalgamate with any other company having objects altogether or any part similar to those of this company.

To give bond or bonds and become bails for or in respect of any persons, firms, corporation for whatever purpose as the company may seem fit.

To make, provide and use railways, tramway, telegraphs, canals, roads and all other works and means of transport by land or water necessary or expedient for the improvement of the property of the company, and to contribute to the expenses of promoting, making and using the said works or any of them.

To procure the company to be registered or recognized in any other territory, place and in any foreign country or place.

To carry on any other business or activity which may seem capable of being conveniently carried on in connection with any activity of the company or calculated to enhance the value of any of the company's property or rights.

To collect revenue and or taxes of all types on its behalf or on behalf of an organization or Government.

To carry on the business of procurement services and tenders (both local and international), power equipment, heavy duty machineries, hospital equipment.

To establish and carry on the business of mining and exploration of precious stones, metals and minerals which include but not limited to; gold, silver, diamond, potassium, silicon, granite.

To carry on the business of purifying, cleaning and grading of precious stones and minerals like gold, silver, diamond, potassium, silicon, and granite.

To carry on the business of importation and exporting all kind of precious stones, general supply of their products, buy, sell, import and deal in jewellery materials, articles and things, of every description liable to be required in connection with general trade of the company or by customers of or persons having dealings with company.

To carry on business of import and export of jewellery materials locally and internationally to fulfill the interest of our customers and clients for the purpose of utilizing the redundant mineral resources to generate revenue for the country Uganda.

To carry on the business to act as valuers, appraisers, referees and assessors to investigate into the conditions of the buildings or other structures of all kinds and to supply efficient and honest arbitrators amongst its personnel and other related activities.

To carry on the business of contractors and agents, carriers and merchants anywhere in world and to deal with all kinds of immovable properties, free-hold or lease hold or having any other right, interest or shares attached to them whether belonging to the company or not.

To acquire by purchase, lease, exchange, hire or otherwise hold, manage , work develop the resources of land and turn to account any estates, land buildings, tenements and other property of every description, whether freehold or leasehold or other tenure and where so ever situate and any interests therein and rights connected therewith and in particular to acquire or take over certain estates situated in Uganda or outside and all or any parts thereon and other assets used in therewith.

To carry on the business of buying and selling of used properties including but not limited to furniture, electronic appliances, building materials, consumables.

To carry on the business of purchasing , sale marketing art (paintings, sculptures etc.), general carriers and forwarding agents and warehouse men.

To carry on the business of importing computers and all the accessories and spare parts to sell, and to act as agency of distributors of computers, computer hardware, distributors and stock lists of computer materials spare parts sellers converters and manufacturers of all or any description of computer hardware and software type setting, secretarial services photocopying, binding or any part of stationery as well as selling office equipment or trade as buyers, sellers, exporters, importers and or dealers in all kinds of computer accessories operate printing press printers publishers designers, cutters, type setting of all kinds.

To carry on business as a bureau dealing in secretarial typing and computer services and engage in business of general merchandise, general trading, import, export, sell, buy, wholesale or retail either deal with importation and exportation, alone or jointly with other companies or persons, deal in imports, exports, grocery stores, supermarkets, departmental stores, traders, merchants, wholesale or retail both commission agents, dealing in spare parts, of all motorcycle sale and spares import and general radio sale, importation and sale of earphones and import, exporting of foods, articles and merchandise of all kinds and to transact any and every description of agency , commission, industrial, manufacturing. Mercantile insurance and financial business and all kind of description.

To invest in or purchase or otherwise acquire leasehold and freehold lands, houses, buildings and hereditament business and to acquire by purchase, exchange or otherwise any other lands, tenant, and hereditament of any tenure and to hold or to sell, let mortgage, charge or otherwise deal with all or any such lands, tenants or hereditament.

To commence, establish, develop, continue and carry on the business of agriculture, diary and farm products and to sell, breed, import, export, improve, prepare, deal and trade in cattle, poultry, game and deal in stock of every description.

To carry on the business of planters, growers, buyers, sellers, store, exporters and general dealers in agricultural produce and other commodities including coffee, rice, maize, wheal, sorghum, millet, groundnut and other cereal and grain products.

To engage in the business of fish farming, fish processing, fish flies production and selling including carrying out any other aquatic activities.

To carry out the business of fruit industry including fruit farming, processing, packing, canning etc., particularly with pineapple, banana juice, passion limits, cocoa and any or other things of any kind whatsoever.

To carry on the safe keeping, cleaning, repairing, refueling and the general care of motor vehicles of all kinds. To buy and sell petrol, gasoline oil and petroleum products, new and used motor vehicles, parts of such vehicles and accessories.

To invest any monies of the company not immediately required for the purpose of the business of the company in such investments (other titan shares in the company, if any) and in such manner as may or otherwise deal with such instruments.
